Eid-ul-Adha

Eid-ul-Adha also known as Eid-e-Qurban is a historical event in muslim world which is celebrated always on 10th Zil Hajj in the memory of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismael (A.S).

Lets have a glance of history

It was  c. 2510 BH (c.1813BCE) in Iraq, when a glorious prophet of Allah Almighty "Hazrat Ibrahim A.S" was born. The meaning of their life was to pay the message of Allah Almighty to the people which were living in darkness, the people which prays to the stones, the people which follow the fire, the people which accepts the stars. Soon after they proved that none of these are true god although there is only one god of the universe who is Allah Almighty. At the age of 86 a child born there is Hazrat Ibrahim's house their name was Hazrat Ismael A.S . Hazrat Ismael was very  dear to their father and hazrat Ibarhim also love them so much later by the order of Allah Almighty Hazrat Ismael were sent to a Desert of Makkah along with their Mother. Hazrat Ismael was very little baby and the hotness of land was that there was not a single bird flying on the sky, no plants, no water and not even a single person was their. Soon Hazrat Ismael cried for water but there was no water , Hazrat Ismael A.S rub their foot while crying on the ground and a miracle happens a water fountain burst from there they and their mother drink the water.

Dream by Allah almighty

When Hazrat Ibrahim A.S was away from Hazrat Ismael A.S the remembrance and love of Hazrat Ismael grows and later at a night a sound comes in their dream of Allah Almighty that

          " Sacrifice something " 

and on the very next morning they sacrifice some of his animals but at night the same dream with same decree came and on the next morning they again sacrifice their animals but on third again there was same dream and now the decree was that

            " O Ibrahim sacrifice your dearest thing "

and then on the next morning they start thinking that what is dearest to them and then they got it that Hazrat Ismael A.S is the dearest one among them.

Travelling toward Hazrat Ismael A.S

After the dream they move on toward hazrat Ismael A.S but now a fear came that May Allah accept this, just no mistake will happen from me this was the fear of Allah Almighty in which their hair and nails grew soo much that they even don't see them consciously because it was fear of Allah almighty

(but sadly now a days we have made it fashion we didn't have such a fear but just we only avoid cutting hair and nails in that days its really sad we should have to be god fearing too)  

after they reach they tell Hazrat Ismael A.S the story and take them too the Qurban Gah and put a cloth on their own eyes and keep the knife on Hazrat Ismael's neck soon the move the knife and open their eyes Hazrat Ismael was standing beside and the sheep from Allah almighty was sent and qurban.

Muslims do qurbani in the remembrance of this event.

If you don't have money to buy a animal and do qurbani there is no problem you can qurban one of your bad habbit for Allah Almighty with the fear that may he accept it and leave the one bad thing.
